On Tuesday, Qatar's energy minister told that Qatar is in discussion to sell more liquefied natural gas (LNG) to India.
Next week, Abdullah al-Attiyah is due to visit New Delhi. He told reporters ahead of a Wednesday OPEC meeting that presently Qatar sells 7.5 million tonnes of LNG a year to India.
Attiyah told that OPEC oil producers were expected to leave their oil output ceiling unchanged at the meeting.
He further informed that the meeting will witness the group finding solutions to existing barriers. He said that the oil market is well supplied.
Attiyah told that the leading role was being played by Asia in the revival of demand.
