Leaders mourn demise of Al Nahyan

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain has expressed shock over the sudden demise of Shaikh Mubarak bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, father of Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Shaikh Hamdan bin Mubarak.

In his condolence message to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Friday, he termed Al Nahyan as a visionary and a great leader.

Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), Chairman of National Palestinian Authority, Shaikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, M Haitham bin Tareq Al Saeed, Minister of Heritage and Culture and envoy of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed of Oman are among other leaders who mourned over the death of Shaikh Mubarak.

Envoy of His Highness Emir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah and Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari also offered condolences and prayed to the Almightily to give piece to the departed soul.

Apart from top leaders and foreign officials, a large number of common people, officials, dignitaries, citizens and residents and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia, offered their condolence.
