Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) sponsored Abu Dhabi Yacht Show (ADYS), the Middle East's only show dedicated to super and mega yachts, has becoming attraction for a large number of mega yacht industry players from across the World.
ADYS would continue until Saturday night at the stunning Yas Marina on Yas Island of Abu Dhabi in the presence of the powerful players in the mega yacht and custom-built luxury super yacht business.
Encouraged from the high growth potential of the Middle East, US builder of custom super yachts Trinity Yachts announced to open its Middle East regional office on Yas Island. It would the first office of the company in any region outside its Gulfport, Mississippi home base.
Trinity's Vice-President William S. Smith III told, "We are very encouraged by Abu Dhabi, as it is building the infrastructure to turn this city into a real yachting destination. Our move here is an indication of just how bullish we are with this market."
Other players including Blohm + Voss, Feadship, Oceanco and L rssen are leaving no stone unturned to tap large opportunities present in the region. Edmiston, a global leader in the sale and charter of larger yachts is also encouraged from the outcomes of the show which, according to him, indicates the ever increasing importance of the Middle-East.
