A large number of publication houses are expected to turn up at the 20th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) which would be held from March 2-7 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The fair would offer a good opportunity to the book lovers to purchase latest publications of their favorite authors.

Juma Al Qubaisi, Director of ADIBF and Director of National Library, Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH), added that the event would provide a unique platform to the region's emerging publishing industry and the international publishing industry for writing new stories of growth.

Qubaisi added, "ADIBF is now in its 20th year and it has achieved incredible growth during that time. Over 800 exhibitors from more than 60 countries around the world are participating this year, which shows that Abu Dhabi is becoming a publishing hub within the region."

Further, "Kitab", a joint venture between ADACH and the Frankfurt Book Fair is also going to host a symposium from February 28 to March 1 which is expected to see around 250 delegates from 53 countries to discuss various issues including copyright and challenges to the publishing industry.
