Abu Dhabi’s Bride Show in full swing

BrideShow-AbuDhabiLucy Clarke, exhibition director for the Bride Show Abu Dhabi 2010, welcoming the all exhibitors participating in the mega event, expressed that wedding business have a good scope to grow in future like it grew in the past despite tough conditions of the financial market.

Global slowdown that impacted almost all sector, failed to impact the wedding industry as rich Emiratis spent around $20 billion in their marriages in 2009. The Bride Show Abu Dhabi 2010' opened at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on Wednesday attracted a large number of people from Middle East, Asia and Europe in the presence of World class designers, jewelers, luxury goods makers and fashion lovers.

Around 200 exhibitors from across the globe have an opportunity to showcase their wedding art work, gowns, international haute couture fashion, beauty, hair and jewellery ideas, wedding venues and preferred honeymoon destinations in the event which would end on February 13, 2010.

UAE national Afra Al Ghafli from Oshia Fashion Design will showcase their embellished abayas made of natural black silk, embellished with diamonds, crystals, cultured pearls, turquoise and silver discs on Friday.
