It was announced by Italian fashion brand Armani that it first hotel which opens from March 18th in Dubai is open to bookings.
To host its first venture into hospitality, the luxury label, managed by its founder Giorgio Armani and at present runs a variety of fashion lines as well as home accessory boutiques, spas, and cafés, has chosen the just-opened Burj Khalifa (formerly Burj Dubai) which is the World's largest tower.
Milan, New York, Tokyo, Shanghai and London will see the opening of many other hotels, but at this point no dates have been specified. In Marrakech, the first Armani Resort is due to open, whereas 'Residency Villas' are under construction in Marassi (Egypt). On the whole, as per the statement, Armani "plans to open at least ten hotels and resorts within the next ten years."
"The brand joins the likes of Versace, Christian Lacroix, and Missoni which have all opened fashion hotels in the past, with the latter planning openings in Brazil and South Africa," continued the statement.
