Saturday witnessed the conclusion of the inaugural Bahrain International Airshow 2010, organized by Civil Aviation Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Sakhir Airbase hosted the three-day event under the Royal patronage and lured some regional and international companies. A large number of visitors were attracted by the Abu Dhabi Airports Company, or ADAC, chalet in the air show. On Thursday, the chalet was visited by the King of Bahrain, His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who took deep interest in various projects of the company.
Saif Al Mazrouei, ADAC Chairman's Office Manager, Yusuf Al Jowder, Head of Terminal Operation, ADAC; Mohamed bin Rashd Al Mualla, Stakeholder and Corporate Relationship Manager, SCADIA, and Ahmed Al Haddabi, Senior Vice-President of Airport Operations went to receive His Majesty.
ADAC's new project, the Midfield Terminal Complex was also presented by Senior Vice-President of Airport Operations, Ahmed Al Haddabi at Abu Dhabi International Airport. The complex would be the biggest terminal building in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The exhibition also was participated by British defense and aerospace company BAE Systems, where they displayed few of its most innovative technologies in the form of full size replicas of MANTIS and HERTI, its autonomous unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), and a full size replica of the Eurofighter Typhoon, one of the world's most advanced multi-role/swing-role combat aircraft.

The visitors were excited by the Royal Bahraini Air Force, or RBAF, Hawks' astonishing military aviation flying display each day during the Airshow.
