A large number of spectators including military and civilian leaders turned up at the first day of International Airshow currently undergoing in the small island nation of Bahrain. Maintainers have put lot of effort for keeping aircrafts ready for pilots at the event.
Expressing pleasure for becoming a part of a great group of maintenance Airmen, the air-show maintenance Director, Capt. Candido Mendes told, "They are top-notch professionals and great ambassadors for our country and the Air Force."
The first day of Air-show witnessed the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) Hawks thrilling the visitors at the air-show that would last up to the 23rd January 2010.
The World's most successful advanced training aircraft-Hawk, having two seats and single engine, is preparing for their next performance for the military aviation flying display. Bahrain is the fifth nation to use Hawk aircraft in the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC).
