In a recent report it was revealed that in a YouTube video posted by a brave family, there was a daughter seen clipping off the locks of hair from her mother’s head. This was because she was suffering from cancer, and had to lose her hair and become totally bald.

The video was filmed aesthetically, keeping it far from a family drama. It was a tender moment of mother and daughter, in which the girl, Lola was made to shave her mother’s head. The two were giggling and made it look like a positive thing.

The friends and family of the woman were so touched by the video that they posted it on Youtube, in wake of spreading awareness about cancer, and asking people to donate towards the ones suffering from cancer.

The name of the woman is Sara Duncan and she was extremely happy to have involved her little daughter in this process of helping her in her illness.

“After it had finished it was sheer relief - one it was a decision made, and also it wasn't as bad as I thought and the dread was over. All my friends said really positive things, giving me confidence”, she said.

This is a good way of involving the children in the journey of treatment in their parent’s illnesses so that they don’t get a total shock someday. Posting the video on Youtube was a big decision for the family and they are glad they made it. It is an intense private moment of the family, and they posted it with the hope that it would help others relate to it, and be able to put a helping hand forward towards the patients suffering from various forms of cancer
