The School -Going Dopers

NADAIt has been recently revealed that after major doping scandals that have been unraveled in the world of sports, by people representing their nations on international levels, even the school kids are following the suit.

The issue of doping in school kids was seen as a persistent problem in the National School Games which are being held this month. There have been 11 people found positive to doping, which makes it very important for the authorities to step in to make stricter rules and remove all sort of loopholes in the drug policies.

These youngsters were seen using things like stanozolol, methylhexaneamine, nandronole together with a number of other diuretics. School children are pushed to perform better due to the stress put on team by the peers, and the expectations of their supporters, school, and parents. They need to perform better, but using drugs as an easy way out is an appalling revelation here.

It is essential that these young performers are taught the right way of life, and they need to be counseled out of using drugs for performing better.

"The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the NADA don't distinguish between athletes on the basis of their ages. So, these athletes will have to go through the routine procedures once the results of the 'B' samples are out”, said Rahul Bhatnagar, NADA Director.

It is essential that sports are taken in the right spirit and any sort of boosters and performance enhancers need to be banned. It is essential that people understand this and work towards performing better with increased practice on the field, and actually playing the sport more, to win.

As for the teens caught doing so, they need to taught a lesson, so that others take example and never fall into such things, keeping a fair game spirit.
