The efforts of Prime Minister David Cameron to critically evaluate the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) have fallen flat as various unions have accused that David Cameron is far away from real picture. The unions are of the view that Cameron’s thinking or perception about IOSH is not based on true facts.
The unions have accused the journalists and other sources of information for misrepresenting the information. The comments of Cameron over IOSH were made at Intuit UK in Maidenhead. While speaking to the audience he said change in the law and policies would be made to make sure that entrepreneurs or businesses are not automatically targeted as defaulters when something goes wrong.
It has been found that insurance companies charges more by the businesses. Therefore, changes would be brought to make sure that insurance firms don’t charge more than actually required by the law. The main point of David Cameron is to make the execution of law.
The government would soon be issuing letter to the Chief Executives of insurance firms asking them to deal with the problem immediately. David Cameron is also planning to bring a change in the compensation culture.
Cameron was reported as saying, "I am determined that we do everything possible to take the brakes off business: cutting taxes; slashing red tape; putting billions into big infrastructure projects; making it much easier for British firms to get out there and trade with the world”.
However, all the efforts of bringing compose and peace to business have fallen flat as the authorities concerned have criticized Cameron’s plan saying that the facts and figures are actually missing from the idea. The critics have criticized the plan of Cameron by saying that the proposed changes are actually a burden over the employers.
