There was recent case revealed by the Irish Independent which showed how a 16-year-old girl who was told to get 14 teeth extracted even without there being need of it, due to the huge medical card cutbacks.

This is due to restrictions that have been implied on the medical card holders about being able to have, merely two fillings each year, no matter what dentists have to say about it. There is a pressing need for drawing out judicial plans for the efficient functioning of the medical firms and the dentists, without the patients having to suffer.
