It might surprise you but according to the researchers, the microbes on the skin plays vital role in making mosquitoes attracted towards the body. The microbes on the skin emit certain smell of odor which is enough to attract mosquitoes.

A new study has stated that absence of vitamin D results in metabolic syndrome in case of elderly people.
The study's co-author Marelise Eekhoff, of VU University Medical Center, Amsterdam stated that it is due to the case of metabolic syndrome that result in increase of the chances of happening of diabetes and other cardiovascular diseases.
Tea and coffee lovers braving the heart disease

According to a new report, it has been discovered that people addicted to tea and coffee have less possibilities of suffering from heart disease, than those who are not so fond of these beverages.
A research had been carried out in Netherlands for 13 years, on more than 37,000 people.
Small Loss Reported in Q4 by Akzo Nobel

The world's largest maker of paint, Akzo Nobel NV, reported a smaller net loss as the demand began to recover in the key markets due to a big write-off last year.
Net loss reported amounted to Euro 60 million versus a loss of Euro 1.51 billion the previous year. Sales fell 7% to Euro 3.31 billion.

In view of the rising competition in the market, TomTom, the Dutch navigation device making company, has warned that its revenue and shares may show a flat graph this year.
