Malaysia Imposes Ban on Import of Australian Horses

A report has told that Malaysia has banned importing horses from Australia. Malaysia has taken this decision so that preventions can be made of transfer of Hendra Virus in the country. The Hendra Virus is a deadly virus which transmits through the flying foxes into horses with the help of their dropping on the food and water due to which the horses gets infected.

Lawsuit arises due to wrong breast cancer removal

A woman from Malaysia got a settlement price of a 100,000 ringgit (equivalent to 31,250 dollars) post an operation wherein the doctor concerned got her left breast removed after having made an erroneous diagnosis that she was suffering from breast cancer. The incident was reported in a local newspaper on Monday.
Malaysian baby hatch gets lauched

To help curb baby dumping and reduce deaths among newborn babies, the KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital, KPJ-ISH, has set up the first hospital baby hatch in the country.
The centre was established to provide care for these unfortunate, unwanted babies, its chief executive officer Ahmad Nasirruddin Harun informed.
