It has come to light that the cholera vaccinations are not adequately provided to Haiti victims. Haiti was recently hit by the worst earthquake and soon after it, the country suffered cholera epidemic. Every day about 10 people fails to survive because of the shortage of cholera vaccine.

There has been no suppression of the cholera outbreak that since 2010 has killed 3,600 people in Haiti. Haitian and US researchers concluded that this was done despite billions of dollars in promised aid.

To promote prevention and early treatment in the cholera epidemic, United Nations humanitarian officials are calling for massive mobilization activities in Haiti.
More than 2,760 people have already been killed by the epidemic and 130,000 others are infected and the number of people who are hospitalized are 71,000.

A deadly cholera epidemic in Haiti region has spread and seems not to settle, even as government and international aid groups joined hands for the cause.
The Pan American Health Organization stated that more than 4,147 people might have been infected and more than 292 have succumbed to death from the outbreak.

It was stated by UN officials that in a severe outbreak of severe diarrhea nearly 140 people have died in central Haiti. But it is being suspected as cholera by Haitian health officials.
