India's new coach hoping high from Football team

The All India Football Federations (AIFF) has shown doors to the popular British coach Bob Houghton when India's mission Asian Cup ended in shambles.
The new coach has a lot to do as a little over a week remains for India's 2014 World Cup qualifiers against UAE.
Time would decide as to how he guides the team for forthcoming national and international tournaments. Indian players would play two matches one with hosts Qatar on Sunday under the new mentor.

The all-round effort of Tauqir goes in vain during their round robin match against Oman.
Mohammed Taquir did a fantastic all-round performance, but could not help lose against UAE. The UAE got a marginal victory by 11 runs to reach the finals of the second Gulf Cup Twenty20 tournament. This cricket tournament was organized by the Sharjah Cricket Council, at the Sharjah Stadium.

The NBA JamFest at Abu Dhabi was an instant success among its fans cheering for their favorite teams in the final events of the men's, women's and university 3-on-3 basketball tournaments.
The emerging winners in the final were `Old School' men, `Adix Stargate' women and University of Wollengong Dubai.
