ICC to take help of Interpol to fight corruption

The International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) may step in for combating corruption following the request by ICC. Ronnie Flanagan, the chairman of the ICC’s anti-corruption and security unit, said that the director general of Interpol has offered help in this regard and there could be memorandum of understanding in few days.

Bad weather forced the last leg of the Abu Dhabi Adventure Challenge to be called off. The event was for covering the 129 km sea route in form of kayaking and the step was taken so that teams are safe.
Such incidents are nothing new and weather changes keep affecting the sporting event every year. But there was nothing to worry for the spectators as the finals are scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi today.

The UAE's Arif Al Zafeen and Nadir bin Hendi have recently bagged the UIM Class 1 World Powerboat Championship with two races remaining.
It is to be mentioned here that the duo reached at the pole position with yet another storming performance at race two of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
