Abu Dhabi sets to host ADIT

Abu Dhabi is ready to host the latest edition of Abu Dhabi International Triathlon (ADIT) from Saturday. The event will see around 800 athletes from 30 countries landing in the country for taking part in the World class sporting endeavor.
The event originally launched in November 2009, has been remained attraction among regional and international players. ADIT attracted many athletes from USA, UK, Finland, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zeeland.
Abu Dhabi to hike capacity of some Indian Schools

Indian Schools, facing flood of applicants seeking admissions in the schools, have a reason to smile as the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) has agreed to their opinion to hike the admission capacity of the schools. Parents are till now forced to send their wards to foreign schools due to non-availability of seats in the Indian Schools located in Abu Dhabi.
Murdoch for strict action against copyright violators

James Murdoch, the Chief of News Corp.'s European and Asian operations has called for strict measures to discourage the rising trend of violation of online copyright.
Speaking at a media conference held in Abu Dhabi, he said that those who are using online contents without proper authority need to pay for that for maintaining some level of sanity around property rights.

Diabetes speedily increasing among UAE nationals

Diabetes has been becoming a common health disorder among UAE nationals as the country finds place in the list of 10 countries where the disease has been spreading at very fast pace.
Residents of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) are very prone to the disease. A population of 51.7 million may suffer from diabetes by 2023 according to experts speaking at the two days long 1st International Abu Dhabi Diabetes Congress.
