Pirates release MV Arrilah-1

Once the arrival took place, both the vessel and its crew were shifted under the protection of special operation unit. Besides that the ten pirates who have surrendered themselves were handed over to the Ministry of Interior and now a case is going to be done on their name.
Dubai Police apprehend 16,000 Pistols en route to Yemen

The Dubai police had huge success against illegal arm shipments on Friday. According to Emirates news agency a huge shipment with 16000 pistols of different specifications were caught by Dubai police, which were en route from Turkey to Yemen.
Smugglers including six Arabs residing in Emirates were arrested in connection to the failed heist.
Housemaids committed 665 crimes in Dubai in 2010

Lt Colonel Jamal Al Jallaf, deputy director of Dubai’s General Department of Investigation has informed that out of all the crimes, less than 5o percent were involved escaping from sponsors and working for other families. This led to the chance of providing jobs for domestic workers on full or part time basis.
Dubai’s anti-trafficking regulations get wide support

In a major shock to a well coordinated effort of international teams of three countries to smuggle opium, the customs department of Dubai has managed to seize it. In total 9 kgs of the drug was taken into custody.

Three members belonging to an international gang of drug smugglers and money launderers have got handcuffed at Dubai with the help of the security agencies in the UK, Holland and South Africa, as reported by a top police official from Dubai last Monday.
