Nokia launches dual SIM phones in India

Leading handset maker, Nokia has announced the launch of long awaited dual SIM phones named C1-00 and C2-00 in the Indian market on August 31, 2010.
Nokia C1-00 supports two SIM cards but only one at a time and the user will have to restart the phone to change to the other SIM. The phone allows users to diver calls to the other SIM so that the users do miss any call on wither SIM card.

Nokia’s latest acquisition speaks of Motally, a small mobile analytics firm of California origin.
Motally is an eight people company that helps develop technology to keep a tab of usage of mobile websites and applications.
Nokia will soon be expanding its expertise in order to keep a track of how the phone devices work in US, in order to facilitate with better targets and at the same time improvise the same in future.

Leading handset maker, Nokia has introduced its new beta version of Ovi Browser for low end mobile phones in emerging markets.
The browser built for Series 40 phones comes with advanced features to enhance the browsing experience on lighter handsets. The Ovi Browser beta is a Java client that uses a compression proxy in order to reduce bandwidth.
