Kingfisher Airlines plans fund raising, shares up

Indian airlines company, Kingfisher Airlines has said that it is planning to go for fund raising. Post the declaration, shares of the company shot up on the bourses.
During the day, shares of the company gained 3 per cent as more and more investors got interested in the plans of the company.

The Karnataka and Kerala police, probing the case of explosive material fond on board a Bangalore- Thiruvananthapuram Kingfisher flight few days back, failed to register any progress in the case as police of both states provided contradictory statements over the issue.

In spite of January's snow storms affecting sales growth, Kingfisher is on the course for better than expected profit. The company expects that its cost cuts meant that profits would be slightly ahead of the £540 million for the year to January 30.
