Flydubai declares latest facility to Bangladesh

Native less-cost carrier flydubai has declared that it shall be starting straight flights from Dubai to Dhaka by mid of February.
Flight Service straight to the Bangladeshi capital signifies that the passengers shall now be having straight low cost flights from Dubai to some other of the South Asian nation's cities.
Deals worth Dh660m announced by flydubai

By the end of the year the six aircraft will be permanently financed after this deal. Two aircraft which were received in March by the airline on lease would be covered by the financing.
Flydubai to begin Khartoum service from November 8

The sources informed the flight to Khartoum will cost just Dh325 one way, inclusive of taxes comprising one piece of hand baggage weighing up to 10kg.
Sources added that Sudan is a country with enormous potential for economic development as well as financial growth. The country is also working hard to ensure there are major business opportunities, which are attractive to businessmen in the UAE.
New African route announced by Flydubai

From 1st September, the new service will operate three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. It is from Dubai International Airport Terminal 2 that Flydubai is operated.
‘Operational reasons’ lead to delay in FlyDubai’s India foray

Flydubai CEO Al Ghaith said in a statement: "Flydubai had planned to begin its operations to India with flight to Lucknow on July 13, Coimbatore on July 14 and Chandigarh on July 23, however, due to operational issues; we have had to delay these flights."
Whopping $320 mln GE financing secured by UAE's FlyDubai
Submitted by Rehan Rachid on Fri, 07/03/2009 - 05:12FlyDubai has been financed with $320 million by General Electric (GE.N) for purchase of four Boeing 737 aircrafts. The aircrafts are to be delivered this year.
Under the agreement with GE's Capital Aviation Services, two aircrafts are to be delivered in July while the others in October and December.
According to FlyDubai, it is for the first time that it has obtained finance from outside the United Arab Emirates.
flydubai seals $320 million deal with Gecas
Submitted by Rehan Rachid on Fri, 07/03/2009 - 04:58flydubai, Dubai's budget airline, has announced that it has inked a $320 million (Dh1.2 billion) sale and lease agreement with GE Capital Aviation Services (Gecas) to finance four aircraft by the end of this year.
The sources said that the aircraft will be Boeing 737s and will bring the total flydubai fleet to six by the end of 2009.
The extra aircraft mean flydubai will be able to establish new routes and operate to at least 14 destinations by the year's end.
