In a collaborative effort, Indian units of US-based Eli Lilly and German drugmaker Boehringer Ingelheim have come together to showcase their portfolio of diabetes products. It’s being claimed that the joint effort would bring out Lilly’s expertise in diabetes and Ingelheim’s innovative late-stage pipeline on a single platform.

The three largest U. S. drug makers, Eli Lilly and Co., Merck & Co. and Pfizer Inc., announced on Tuesday that they have allied to set up a not-for-profit company dedicated to investigating and treating the growing problem of gastric and lung cancers in Asia.
