The Delta airlines now want the approvals from both the US Department of Transport and European Commission to operate two daily flights on the Miami and Boston routes.

On the other hand, the American Airline and British airways are trying to make a new combined airline to operate across the Atlantic and the Delta wants the approval before the new combined airline starts its operations.
