Dell to replace employees’ BlackBerrys with WM 7 devices

Dell BalckBerrysDell is planning to replace BlackBerry smartphones used by its employees at present with its own devices based on Windows Phone 7.

The company has decided to standardize the Phone 7 mobile operating system for 25,000 employees and will also offer an enterprise service to its partner firms to shift to the devices based on Microsoft's platform.

Dell’s Profit Rises by 52%

It was noticed that the net income for the three months that ended April 30 was US$441 million. There was rise in net income by 52% compared to the same quarter last year.
