Abu Dhabi’s Etihad working towards safe delivery of fish delicacy

The company in question, Etihad Crystal Cargo, made a delivery of a shipment of Siberian sturgeon, whose arrival took place safely on the 21st of last month at the fish farm situated in Musaffah. The plant is a joint venture made by Bin Salem Holding, a local company; with the German conglomerate United Food Technologies.
Direct Flights Abu Dhabi-Hong Kong from Cathay Pacific Airways

Beginning June 2, Cathay Pacific Airways will operate non-stop flights to Hong Kong from Abu Dhabi four times a week. Tom Wright, Cathay Pacific Airways General Manager for the Middle East, India, Africa and Pakistan, told during a press conference yesterday.

On Saturday, an announcement was made by the Kuwaiti airline Jazeera Airways that it was planning to add more flights to Istanbul Dubai, Jeddah, and Damascus.
Al Hilal opens new branch in Kazakhstan

The bank opened its new branch in Kazakhstan becoming the first Islamic bank to have full-fledged branch in the country.
Earlier, the Financial Markets Authority in the Central Asian Republic of Kazakhstan gave its nod to the bank for opening its branch in the resource rich country. The new bank, fully owned by Al Hilal Bank, would have capital of $36 million according to the information provided by the lender.
South East Asia sees expansion of Qatar ways

Qatar Airways is expanding its operations in a big way in South East Asia which shall include upgrading of its aircraft equipments and increasing the frequencies.
Earlier Qatar Airways had announced adding of five new routes during the first half of 2010.
Bank of Nova Scotia to open branch in Dubai

The bank has been recently awarded license by the Dubai Financial Services Authority which has paved a way for the Toronto-based bank to have a branch in Dubai's international financial center.
Emirates Airline Sets for Amsterdam Route

The aviation major is likely to announce flights to more destinations in coming months excluding already announced three destinations earlier this year.
